My Contributions
Level Design

I created the level/park where the players brawl each other in order to have the most amount of trash

I started with a few iterations in sketch form to figure out what the arena might look like, thinking on how the human NPC will spawn and walk around the park, and how the players can interact with those NPCs.

After the sketch I started to make a white box of the level with simple geometry.

The final level looks a bit different due to the asset pack that we use for the level was selected after and I had to readjust the design of the level to fit the size, shape, and aesthetic of the pack. I added more lanes for the human to have more extra spawn area for the human NPC for more potential objectives spawn for the player to fight over.

UI

For the UI, due to time constraints and other commitments, we decided to use an asset pack, to save time creating all the UI assets. For the implementation, the main in-game UI, I put the scores of each player in the corner where their bin home is to make navigating the map easier, where the player can just look at a quick glance to remember where their goal is.

The main menu was made so that it looked like it was a part of the level rather than a floating menu. The join panel is the park sign where the player can run around in the background until everyone is ready to play the game. A control sheet was added to give clear instruction to the players.

For the end score screen, I wanted for it to also exist in the park itself, with a stack of boxes and bins as a makeshift podium where the player can swing around their heads and scream for while before the game ends.
